Ummm…I’m not a lawyer nor have I been to law school, but from the nature of your question, it seems you are going for undergrad at LSU, not a JD. You cannot become a lawyer without 3 years of law school and then passing the bar. Law school comes after undergrad.
major in pre-law (not available at all schools) or philosophy
then go to law school to get your juris doctorate and specialize from there
Family law? Ehh, possibly psychology. It’s an easy major and it’ll be a little helpful to know some psychology. That’s about it. Doesn’t really matter too much since law schools don’t care what classes you take or even what major you are. For family law, there’s not much in undergrad that will be that helpful. Even in law school, there prolly won’t be too many family law classes.
Just work on getting the best grades you can.
